Counselling & Psychotherapy

You don't have to face life's challenges alone.

Life isn't always easy.

There are times when we all feel overwhelmed, anxious, exhausted or stuck. Sometimes we know exactly why we're struggling. Other times, we simply know that something doesn't feel quite right anymore.

You might have spent months—or even years—trying to cope on your own. Perhaps you've become so used to carrying everything that asking for help feels unfamiliar or even uncomfortable.

If that's where you are, I want you to know that you're not alone.

Counselling offers a safe, confidential space where you can slow down, explore what's happening and begin to make sense of your experiences without fear of judgement.

You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from counselling.

Sometimes people come because life has become overwhelming.

Sometimes they come because they want to understand themselves better.

Sometimes they simply want things to feel different.

Whatever has brought you here, you're welcome.

How I Work

Every person is unique, which means therapy should never be a one-size-fits-all approach.

At the heart of my work is the belief that healing begins through understanding, compassion and connection.

I work integratively, drawing on different therapeutic approaches to meet your individual needs rather than expecting you to fit into one particular model.

Together we create a space where you can:

  • Feel genuinely heard and understood.

  • Explore difficult thoughts and emotions safely.

  • Understand patterns that may have developed over time.

  • Build healthier relationships with yourself and others.

  • Develop confidence and self-compassion.

  • Move towards the life you want to live.

I won't tell you what decisions to make or judge the choices you've made.

Instead, I'll walk alongside you as we make sense of your experiences together.

What Can Counselling Help With?

People come to counselling for many different reasons.

Some know exactly what they need support with, while others simply know that life feels harder than it used to.

Counselling may help if you're experiencing:

  • Anxiety or excessive worry

  • Depression or low mood

  • Stress and burnout

  • Trauma or the lasting impact of difficult experiences

  • Relationship difficulties

  • Bereavement and loss

  • Low self-esteem or self-confidence

  • Emotional regulation difficulties

  • Life transitions and change

  • Neurodiversity-related challenges

  • Family difficulties

  • Feeling overwhelmed or disconnected

  • Wanting to understand yourself better

You don't need to have the "right" reason to come to therapy.

If something feels important to you, it's important enough to talk about.

My Areas of Interest

What to Expect

Beginning counselling can feel like a big step.

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another.

We'll talk about what has brought you to therapy, what you hope to achieve and whether I feel like the right therapist for you.

There is no pressure and no expectation that you need to share everything straight away.

Therapy develops at your pace.

My priority is creating a space where you feel safe, respected and understood.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long is a counselling session?

Sessions last 50 minutes and are usually held weekly.

Are sessions confidential?

Yes. Everything discussed in counselling is confidential, with a small number of legal and ethical exceptions, which I'll explain during our first meeting.

Do you offer online counselling?

Yes. I offer both in-person sessions from my Warwickshire practice and online counselling where appropriate.

How many sessions will I need?

There is no fixed number.

Some people benefit from short-term work, while others choose longer-term therapy. We will regularly review how things are progressing and work together to decide what feels right for you.

Taking the First Step

Starting therapy doesn't mean something is wrong with you.

It means you're giving yourself the opportunity to pause, reflect and begin understanding yourself with greater compassion.

Whether you're looking for support through a difficult period, working through past experiences or simply wanting life to feel different, I'd be honoured to walk alongside you.

If you have any questions or would like to arrange an initial consultation, please get in touch. I'd love to hear from you.
